  • Aiding in the development and deployment of an anti-plagiarism system called "Examinator: A Plagiarism Detection Tool for Take-Home Exams" that uses cutting-edge AI algorithms to find plagiarism in student submissions.

  • Developing an AI-powered system to aid Teaching Assistants in identifying high-priority student posts, thereby improving efficiency by recognizing and suggesting urgent student queries. Utilizing clustering algorithms to ensure fair and uniform distribution of essay grading assignments.

  • Created the "Angelia" IDE extension, providing on-call Teaching Assistant (TA) support, utilizing keystroke logging and machine learning to offer personalized guidance to students in areas of difficulty. It includes "TA Availability" to promptly connect students with available Teaching Assistants and "Streamlined Assignment Resources Access" for simplified access to assignment-related resources [Link].

The Exoskeleton and Prosthetic Intelligent Controls (EPIC) Lab

  • Designed a machine learning-enabled back exoskeleton to adapt to the user’s movements, while processing marker data and performing inverse kinematics/dynamics analysis for 10 subjects to estimate flexion moment.

  • Deployed a cutting-edge Temporal Convolutional Neural Network (TCN) model on a Jetson Nano controller by leveraging a 9-axis IMU and motor data integration to predict lumbar flexion moments.

  • Led the Mechanical team to enhance exoskeleton ergonomics by 30%. Engineered an Arduino Teensy velocity controller for closed-loop motor torque control.
